Bujinkan to Montreal : Back to the source
Bujinkan Dôjô Montreal is a school where the culture and history of Japanese martial arts are an inherent part of the classes that it offers. Where values like courage, honour, perseverance, respect, excellence are essential to the evolution of all students:
To help them reach a personal evolution as achieved human beings thanks to a personal affirmation of self and an improvement of life in society.
So that children and adults can be active elements of the society instead of passive ones.

« Say Goodbye to Stress, and Discover the Serenity »
Ninjutsu, the art of the Ninja, is the discipline taught for several centuries in Japan (it is also called Budô Taijutsu of Ninpô Taijutsu). Budô is the generic name given to the various fighting styles developed in Japan.
Ninpô (or Ninjutsu) is a specific part of Japanese Budô.
Taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat technique) consists of techniques without weapons, such as striking, grabbing, twisting, throwing, strangling and so on.
As a fighting system, it relies on the natural strength of the body, the speed of reaction, of gesture and on the understanding of the principles that allow a person to reach a higher level of self-protection.
Taijutsu allows us to act at a motion level without having to use thought. Our body must simply move naturally, in harmony with the opponent’s energy flow.

The System of Learning |
|
|
|
Budo Taijutsu is a progress system that is fundamental in controlling the body and mastering the fight with or without weapons. The study of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is made up of different modules:
-
The first module groups together all the basic techniques of the hand-to-hand combat.
-
The second module is the study of nine traditional schools: 6 of traditional Jujutsu and 3 of Ninpô, each one having specific techniques.
-
The third module is the practice of weapons associated with the first two modules. |

The Evolution |
|
|
|
The students can evolve at their own rhythm, having at the same time access to the Japanese culture and history, which will contribute to enrich their own culture.
The quality of the classes and the skills of the instructors will ensure the students’ progress and results which will be visible after only a few months. |
